- I am a first time writer. It remains to be seen if I will be successful. I've always been an avid reader, and secretly wanted to write. Actually, I'd better expand on that. My dearly beloved bought the Writers and Artists Handbook 2010 for Christmas (bless him). I've been through, and there is so much information in there about the publishing business, it will be invaluable. I've found a couple of publishers I'm going to try, and the first submission goes out today. I'd be doing two, but the ink is running low on my printer. Now to brave the snow.
